We always decorate our tree the Friday after Thanksgiving. I think the kid's favorite thing about Thanksgiving is knowing that the next day the tree goes up. Each year Katherine's mom buys each kid a new ornament for the tree so they really enjoy helping decorate the tree with their own ornaments. Of course having the kids help means that our tree will probably never win any awards for the most stylish tree but we are ok with that.
