More on Christmas

So it turns out that maybe Sophie wasn't confused at all. Apparently she is dressing up for Christmas....as a lamb. That's what the sticker tag that came home with her from nursery at church said. So now I get to create a lamb costume so Sophie can dress up at Christmas. I couldn't find a white sweatshirt/sweatpants at Wal-Mart or K-Mart so we bought pink...and hundreds of cotton balls...and fabric glue. I'm sure it will be beautiful when I'm done. Or if not beautiful, at least hopefully recognizable as a lamb. Or if not recognizable as a lamb, at least maybe it will blend in with all the other lamb costumes. I'm sure all the parents were very excited about the prospect of creating animal costumes.
And I thought I was getting off easy this year since Jace's Kindergarten program only is requiring a black shirt and jeans. When Emma was in Kindergarten, I had to make an elf costume. Out of felt. And fabric glue. It was also beautiful. I'll find a picture and post it soon. And when the lamb is done, I'll post a picture of it also. So you can be amazed at my creative ability. (Or, more likely, get a good laugh.) I'm sure you can't wait....
